TEACHING

"EVERY LESSON IS INSPIRING AND ENGAGING"

“For six incredible years, I had the privilege of having Rosie as a teacher. She is such a warm-hearted person, and she makes every lesson inspiring and engaging. I’m deeply grateful for our time together, which not only strengthened my skills in bass and music theory, but also sparked a lasting love for music.”

Rosie's studio

I’m a passionate music educator with years of experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching journey began at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, and since then, I’ve built a vibrant private studio with students ranging in age from 7 to 70. I teach both in person and online, working with musicians across the globe in English, Spanish, and German.
Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or returning after years away, my goal is to help you grow not just as a player, but as a confident, curious, and expressive musician.

My teaching method focuses on:
Strong foundations in ear training and music theory
Personalized lesson plans using a variety of method and étude books
Tailored instruction based on each student’s technical and musical goals

I understand that most of my students aren’t planning to become professional musicians—and that’s perfectly okay. What matters most to me is helping you find joy and confidence through music. Many of my students have gone on to play in university orchestras, and I’m always thrilled to hear from them, even years after their last lesson.

I also offer beginner piano lessons, with the same focus on strong theoretical understanding and musical fun.
Currently, I teach privately at the Berlin Cosmopolitan School in Mitte, as well as online.

All ages and experience levels are welcome.

If you're curious about lessons or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to hear from you!
